Greetings from GEM Hospital. It gives us immense pleasure to welcome you to Coimbatore for the ENDOHERNIA 2011 - 4th International Live workshop cum conference along with training course, which will be held on 22-24th September 2011.

Since its inception in late 1980's laparoscopy has revolutionzed all surgical fields including hernia surgery though it picked up bit late, because of the long learning curve. Although endohernia surgery is familiar among the surgeons, still it has been practiced by minimal percentage of surgeons in western country (15-17%) as will as in India (<10%) So, it is mandatory to train & promote all our junior & senior surgeons in this field. To accomplish this mission (i.e) (MAS (Minimal Access Surgery) to MASSES) we have planned to show you the basic, advanced future perspective of all types of endohernia surgery in this live workshop cum conference. The entire scientific programme will be teaching based with sufficient time for interactive discussion between the delegates and the faculty. Apart from this on the first day there will be diadactic lectures with interactive session in all aspects, basic to advance, recent to future and evidence based lectures by world renowned faculties in the respective field on endo hernia surgery. There will be hands on training course on the first day, so be prepared to register early since there is only limited slot. Altogether, will be a learning bonanza for all general surgeons and so we once again welcone you all to attend this conference and not to miss it.
