Message from organizing chairman
It gives me immense pleasure in inviting you all to the 7th International laparoscopic live workshop and conference to be held from 22nd to 25th November, 2007. As you have experienced earlier, this program will also be packed with scientific events which I feel will enhance your laparoscopic skills. This year conference and workshop will be totally dedicated to the field of oncosurgery.
As you all know that the field of laparoscopic oncosurgery is fast developing. Evidences are accumulating in favour of laparoscopy for oncological procedures. I hope that this program will give all of us an opportunity to witness the available evidences and progresses in the field of minimally invasive oncosurgery. We have made all efforts to bring internationally reputed faculty who are authorities in the respective field, to share their experiences. This event will also provide an opportunity to visit the scientific exhibit and stalls to enhance your armamentarium.
Important cancer surgeries such as hepatic resection, pancreatectomy and gastric surgeries will also be shown live by open approach for better learning
Coimbatore, also called as “The Manchester of South India” which is famous for its climatic conditions, friendly people and educational institutions, has also become an important destination in health care industry. It is well connected by air, rail and road to other cities. The weather condition during this period will be comfortable. I am sure that you will enjoy your stay here. The famous hill stations like Ooty and Kodaikanal are also nearby and you can spare one or two days more to relax and enjoy.
Once again I extend my invitation to one and all to comedown and participate in this event to make it a grand success.
